The Resolution approved the Treaty Establishing the African Medicines Agency, adopted in February 2019 by the 32nd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, held in Addis Ababa – Ethiopia. 

This decree regulates the exercise of hospital pharmaceutical activity in the health structures of the National Health Service. It covers all health structures of the National Health Service that carry out this activity, namely central hospitals and regional hospitals. Its purpose is to organize, improve, optimize and standardize hospital pharmaceutical services in the National Health Service.

The document guides the operationalization of Medicine and Therapeutics Committee Manual in Rwanda to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient management and use of medicines and health supplies in the health facility.

The decree provides the National List of Essential Medicines.

This Law establishes the Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority and determines its mission, organization and functioning. The authority has a legal personality and enjoys administrative and financial autonomy. 

This document establishes the National List of Essential Medicines for Paediatrics to enable the availability, accessibility and affordability of quality and safe health products and ensure their rational use.

This document establishes the National Essential Medicine List for Adults to enable the availability, accessibility and affordability of quality and safe health products and ensure their rational use.

This decree regulates the marketing authorization, registration, manufacture, import, export, marketing, donations and advertising of medicines for human use.

This Decree determines the conditions for opening and operating of wholesale pharmaceutical stores in Rwanda.
