These Regulations regulate the surveillance and the control of notifiable medical conditions in South Africa.

This decree establishes the terms of collection of contributions from workers in the public, parapublic and private sectors affiliated to the compulsory health insurance and social security scheme.

This decree is setting the rates, the basis of contributions and the ceiling on salaries subject to contributions of workers in the public, private and parapublic sectors to the Compulsory Health Insurance and Social Security Scheme.

Executive decree no. 15-289 of 2 Safar 1437 corresponding to 14 November 2015 provides rules regarding social security for self-employed persons carrying out an activity on their own account. it was published in the official journal of 18 November 2015 (see pages 5 to 8).

The Law establishes a mandatory system of insurance for health for the residents in Burkina Faso named Universal health insurance in Burkina Faso ("régime d’assurance maladie universelle au Burkina Faso").

The National Health Insurance Fund Act

This Act establishes the National Health Insurance Fund and provides for contributions to and payment of health care benefits to certain Government employees and provides for related matters.

Public Health Act, 2012 Act 851

The National Public Health Act revises and consolidates the law relating to public health to prevent disease, promote, safeguard, maintain and protect the health of humans and animals and to provide for related matters.

This Law provides for the extension of the health insurance regime as established by Ordinance No 2005-006 of 29 September 2005 to other population categories such as employees of local authorities and their public establishments; employees of projects and other administrative structures benefiting from financial autonomy; persons exercising a liberal profession; employees and pensioners of the private sector, private law associations and other civil society organizations; professional journalists and private press collaborators; independent workers.

This decree, taken in application of the provisions of articles 51 of the Constitution and 107 of Ordinance No. 0022/PR/2007 of August 21, 2007, establishes the technical operating procedures of the Compulsory Health Insurance and Social Security Scheme.

The executive decree n° 06-339 of 2 Ramadhan 1427 corresponding to 25 September 2006 modifies the executive decree n° 94-187 of 26 Moharram 1415 corresponding to 6 July 1994 fixing the distribution of the rate of the social security contribution. This decree was published in the official journal of 27 September 2006 (see page 16).

The law regulates the state of situation of emergency in Angola. Defining the states of exception as exceptional situations that may suspend or limit the exercise of citizens' rights, freedoms and guarantees.

International Health Regulations Act

This Act applies the International Health Regulations, adopted by the World Health Assembly, in the Republic, and provides for incidental matters.

Public Health Regulations (No. 25 of 1973)

These regulations have been adopted pursuant to two sections of the Public Health Order of 1970: article 16j referring to the enactment of regulations for the prevention of the spread of any communicable disease by persons who are "carriers" of the disease (...) and article 71m referring to regulations for requiring the medical examination of any person in any premises in which any milk or dairy produce or other article of food intended for sale is collected, kept sold (...).

The Order provides rules regarding diseases subject to the international Health Regulation, the prevention and control of communicable diseases; sanitation and housing; and food and water protection among other aspects.
