The purpose of the law is to establish the legal rules applicable to the processing of personal data with the aim of guaranteeing respect for public freedoms and the fundamental rights and guarantees of natural persons.
The Constitution of Angola was promulgated in 2010. The Constitution contains 244 articles addressing a large number of issues such as the protection of fundamental rights, freedoms, guarantees and duties, the fundamental principles of the state and institutional arrangements.
