This Act amends sections 2, 6, 7, 9, 12, 14, 17, 17A, 18 and 19 of the National Registration Act of 1986.

The National Identity Register (Amendment) Act of 2017 amends the National Identity Register Act, 2008 (Act 750), to make further provision for the mode of application for identity cards, provide for the conditions and requirements for registration, prescribe information to be supplied by persons to whom national identity cards are to be issued and for related matters.

These Regulations regulate the surveillance and the control of notifiable medical conditions in South Africa.

This Law governs natural persons and family as well as relations between persons.

This Act provides for the amendment and consolidation of the laws relating to the compulsory registration of citizens and non-citizens resident in Sierra Leone, provides for the issuance of identity cards, provides for the establishment of the National Civil Registration Authority responsible for the registration of births adoptions, deaths, marriages, divorces and nullities throughout Sierra Leone and provides for other related matters.

The purpose is to collect, process and store the personal data of each citizen in order to establish their civil identity. This decree creates and adopts a strategic plan for the permanent registration of children in maternity wards in Hospitals and Health Centers and in Civil Registry Offices.

The law regulates civil status in Togo. It was published in the Official Journal on 30 June 2009 (pages 6 to 11).

The National Identity Register Act of 2008 provides for the capture of personal information by individuals by the National Identity Authority for the issue of national identity cards; for the protection of the personal information; for conditions of access, use, retention and disclosure of information and for related matters.

This Act provides for the establishment of a national identity database and the National Identity Management Commission charge with the responsibilities for maintenance of the national database, the registration of individuals, and the issuance of general multipurpose identity cards; and for related matters.

The law approves the Civil Registration Code.

This Act provides for the compilation and maintenance of a population register in respect of the population of Namibia, for the issue of identity documents to persons whose names are included in the population register; and for the matters connected therewith.

The law regulates the state of situation of emergency in Angola. Defining the states of exception as exceptional situations that may suspend or limit the exercise of citizens' rights, freedoms and guarantees.

This Act provides provisions on the registration of persons resident in Botswana and provides for matters incidental thereto.

This Act provides for the registration of births and deaths in Zimbabwe.

The law regulates all the aspects regarding civil status matters.
