This Act provides for the amendment and consolidation of the laws relating to the compulsory registration of citizens and non-citizens resident in Sierra Leone, provides for the issuance of identity cards, provides for the establishment of the National Civil Registration Authority responsible for the registration of births adoptions, deaths, marriages, divorces and nullities throughout Sierra Leone and provides for other related matters.

This Act harmonizes and consolidates the law on registration of persons; provides for registration of individuals; establishes a national identification register; establishes a national registration and identification authority; provides for the issue of national identification cards and aliens identification cards and for related matters.

This Order determines the list of serious or disabling illnesses for which the insured person is entitled to total or partial exemption from payment of the portion of the costs remaining his responsibility, as well as the conditions under which the exemption is granted.

The Proclamation establishes a mandatory health insurance scheme for pensioners, employees and members of their families in Ethiopia.

The law creates the legal framework for civil identification and the issue of national identity cards. The purpose is to collect, process and store the personal data of each citizen in order to establish their civil identity. The National Identity Register Act of 2008 provides for the capture of personal information by individuals by the National Identity Authority for the issue of national identity cards; for the protection of the personal information; for conditions of access, use, retention and disclosure of information and for related matters.

They mandate non-discrimination, set minimum benefit standards, and outline procedures for interim management and the accreditation of healthcare facilities.

The law approves the Civil Registration Code.

This Act provides for the compilation and maintenance of a population register in respect of the population of Namibia, for the issue of identity documents to persons whose names are included in the population register; and for the matters connected therewith.

This Act provides provisions on the registration of persons resident in Botswana and provides for matters incidental thereto.
