This Order determines mission, responsibilities and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health which has the mission of promoting the health of the population through the delivery of preventive, curative and rehabilitative health services.

The Decree defines the normative framework for the organization and operation of the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene.

The Rwanda Hospital Accreditation Standards Performance Assessment Tool has been developed based on the 2nd edition of the hospital standards to assist supervisors, facility managers and staff in assessing the quality of their services. The toolkit can be used to guide the set-up of services and to improve current services. It helps to measure progress towards meeting standards and will be used by external surveyors to accredit facilities.

The document sets accreditation standards for Hospitals in Rwanda. They are designed for use within the entire organization and cover the full range of services.

Level Two Teaching Hospital Standards

The standards define the minimum requirements that must be covered by Level Two teaching Hospitals for undergraduate and postgraduate training programs and they will be used as an inspection checklist for accreditation.

This decree establishes the responsibilities, organization and operation of the Ministry of Health.

Portaria No 50/2021

The purpose of these Regulations is to establish the organizational and operating rules of the National Medicines Council, a body provided for in the Organic Chart of the Ministry of Health, approved by Decree-Law no. 56/2021 of 21 September, which establishes the structure and operating rules of the Ministry of Health.

The Proclamation 1263/2021 was enacted to provide for the definition of the powers and duties of the executive organs of the federal democratic republic of Ethiopia. It includes provisions regarding the mandate of the Ministry of Health (cf. section 35).

The Resolution approves the Health Policy and the Strategy for its Implementation.

The Decree adopts the National Strategy for University Health Coverage in Niger 2021-2030.

The document sets accreditation standards and a performance assessment of pharmaceutical services in Rwanda. The standards are intended for implementation within Rwandan hospitals and community pharmacies.

This decree establishes the organization of the Ministry of Health and Social Action.

The diploma approves the rules of Procedure of the Ministry of Health.

This decree provides for the organization of the ministry of health and population. It was published in the official journal on 19 July 2018 along with the decree governing the powers and organization of the General Health Inspectorate (decree 2018-269), the decree providing for the powers and organization of the General Directorate for care and health services (decree 2018-270), the decree providing for the powers and organization of the General Directorate for the Population (decree 2018-271) and the decree providing for the powers and organization of the General Directorate for Management and Resources (decree 2018-272).
