This law was published in the Official Journal on 10 May 2022. It provides measures to fight violence against women.

The document sets up standards to provide guidance to teaching institutions for health professional education and affiliated teaching hospitals and/or second-level teaching hospitals. The health teaching institution must meet the requirements set out in the Standards to obtain accreditation certification and deliver high-quality health professional training.

The document is a check-list that serves as a “road map” for executives for an assessment of health professional colleges and schools in Rwanda.

This decree sets protective measures for pregnant women at their workplace.

The aim of the law is to promote and protect the rights of persons with disabilities for their effective integration, so that their dignity is preserved and they can benefit from conditions that enable them, where appropriate, to be useful to themselves, their families, their communities and society as a whole by breaking down barriers of all kinds.

These guidelines provide direction to public and private institutions on how to secure a conducive environment for supporting female employees to combine work and breastfeeding. They complement other related materials in the health and nutrition practice.

Curriculum for Diploma in Pharmacy

The Curriculum for the Diploma in Pharmacy are the guidelines for the training and qualification in pharmacy.

This Law relates to human reproductive health.

Women's Act

The Act implement the legal provisions of the National Policy for the advancement of Gambian Women and Girls, and incorporates and enforces the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights on the Rights of Women in Africa.

This Law contains provisions relating to the promotion and protection of the rights of persons with disabilities.

The Persons with Disabilities Act

The Act makes provisions for health care, social support, accessibility, rehabilitation and vocational training, communication, employment or work protection and promotion of basic rights for persons with disabilities and provides for related matters.

This Law protects disabled persons in general.

Persons with Disability Act, 2006 Act 715

The Persons with Disability Act, 2006 is an act to provide for persons with disability, to establish a National Council on Persons with Disability and to provide for related matters.

The decree sets out the application of decree no. 205-316/PRN/MSP/LCE of November 11, 2005, granting women free caesarean section services provided by public health establishments.

This decree creates a National Training School for State-certified Nurses and Midwives in Anaesthesia - Resuscitation called ENAFISAR. This decree defines the organization and functions of the School, the administrative bodies and commissions, the training requirements, etc.

This decree grants women free access to caesarean section services provided by public health establishments.

Choice on termination of pregnancy Act 92 of 1996

This Act determines the circumstances in which and conditions under which the pregnancy of a woman may be terminated; and provides for matters connected therewith.

Handicapped Persons Act

This Act makes provision for the improvement of the care, assistance and education of handicapped persons in Malawi; establishes a Council for the handicapped; provides for the voluntary registration of handicapped persons; provides for the registration, direction, control and regulation of associations whose objects include the welfare of the handicapped; and further provides for matters incidental thereto and connected therewith.
