Health Legislation

The Order establishes the professional Code of conduct for nurses and midwives in Rwanda. This Order concerns nurses and midwives registered with the National Council of Nurses and Midwives.

This Law establishes the National Council of Nurses and Midwives and determines its organisation, functioning and competence.

This Act makes provision for the training, registration, enrolment and licensing of nurses, regulates their conduct and ensures their maximum participation in the health care of the community and other connected purposes.
