This Act provides for integrated and coordinated disaster management that focuses on prevention, preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery from, disasters or emergency situations, and the management of their effects, establishes a National Disaster Management Agency and Regional, District and Village Disaster Management Committees.

This Act amends the Medical Practitioners and Dental Surgeons Act, 1994.

The decree covers the powers, organization and operation of the Public Hygiene Police.

The Law establishes the Order of Doctors of Mozambique and provides the Statute of the Order as an integral part of the law.

This document sets out the reasons why the Law no. 022-2005/AN on the public hygiene code was adopted. The document make a specific resume for each chapter of the law. 

This law governs public hygiene in Burkina Faso, in particular hygiene on public roads and squares, the hygiene of swimming pools and bathing areas, homes, food products, water, industrial and commercial facilities, schools, pre-schools and health establishments, public buildings and the natural environment, and noise control. The document approved the Medical Deontology and Ethic Code of Angola. It is a legal instrument that establishes principles and rules to be observed by all doctors in the exercise of their profession. The provisions of the Code apply to all doctors registered with the Angolan Medical Association.

The Proclamation regulates different aspects of Public Health such as food quality control and standards (Articles 8 and 9); water quality control (Article 10); occupational health (Article 11), waste handling and disposal (Article 12); availability of toilet facilities in health institutions (Article 13); control of bathing places and pools (Article 14); disposal of dead bodies (art.15); control at entrance and exit ports in Ethiopia making mandatory vaccines for people coming from outside (Article 16); and Communicable Diseases (art.17).

This Act establishes the Medical Council of Mauritius which is responsible for the regulation and oversight of the medical profession in Mauritius, including the registration, licensing, and professional conduct of medical practitioners.

This Act regulates the practice of the profession of dental surgeon and dental specialist, and establishes the Dental Council of Mauritius.

This Law regulates the establishment and practice of the art of health, namely the medical art, dentistry, the pharmaceutical art, nursing and paramedical art.

This Act consolidates the law relating to the medical and dental practice and provides for other connected purposes.

This law provides for the National Order of doctors and specifies its mandate and operating modes.

The Code provides rules regarding different rears of public health as the prevention and control of communicable diseases; sanitation and housing; and food and water protection among other aspects.
