This law modifies and completes the law n°90-14 regarding conditions for the exercise of trade union rights.

The aim of establishing a medical career is to guarantee and organize the exercise of medical activity in the National Health Service. It is also a particular objective of the medical career to encourage and reward scientific research and experimentation in the field of medicine in Cape Verde.

The Law creates a professional order called the "Ordre national des sages- femmes/maïeuticiens de Guinée", which groups together all midwives/maïeuticians required to practice in Guinea.

The law creates the Ordre des Médecins (The Order of Physicians), which is responsible for organizing and representing individuals and legal entities practicing the Medical professions in Mali.

The law creates the "Ordre des Infirmières et Infirmiers" (The Order of Nurses), which is responsible for organizing and representing individuals and legal entities practicing nursing in Mali.

The law created the Order of Midwives (the Order of Midwives), which is responsible for organizing and representing individuals and legal entities practicing the profession of midwifery in Mali.
