Pharmacy Council Act

This Act promotes and protects the health and safety of the general public through safeguarding, maintaining and enforcing the highest standards in the practice of pharmacy.

The Physiotherapists Act

This Act makes provision for the training, registration and licensing of physiotherapists, regulates their practice, provides for the establishment, powers and functions of the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya and for connected purposes.

The Counsellors and Psychologists Act

This Act provides for the training, registration, licensing, practice and standards of counsellors and psychologists and for connected purposes.

Insurance Act 2014

The Act makes provision regarding the Insurance sector, with the aim of consolidation, administration, supervision, regulation, control, protection and development of insurance business, and for incidental matters.

The decree creates a multi-sectoral committee to combat counterfeiting and the illicit sale of medicines and other pharmaceutical products, reporting to Niger's Minister of Public Health.

These Regulations amend the Health Professionals Act of 2006 by repealing and substituting Schedule 1 of the Act dedicated to the enumeration of the categories of health professionals.

The law creates the "Caisse Nationale de Solidarité et de Prévoyance Sociale" (The National Solidarity and Social Welfare Fund).

The Health Professions Regulatory Bodies Act of 2013 establishes the Allied Health Professions Council, the Medical and Dental Council, the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the Pharmacy Council, the Psychology Council and provides for related purposes.

The Kenya Medical Supplies Authority Act

This Act makes provisions for the establishment of the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority and for connected purposes.

This Order determines the list of serious or disabling illnesses for which the insured person is entitled to total or partial exemption from payment of the portion of the costs remaining his responsibility, as well as the conditions under which the exemption is granted.

The decree establishes a Committee of Experts in charge of technical evaluation, whose mission is to carry out the technical evaluation of applications for registration of pharmaceutical products for human use. It also gives an opinion on the quality, safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products for human use submitted for registration.

The decree creates the Commission Nationale du Médicament (CNM) for human use, whose mission is to validate the work of the Expert Committee responsible for the technical evaluation of applications for marketing authorization for pharmaceutical products for human use. It also gives a final opinion on marketing authorization applications; applications for renewal, extension of variation and transfer of marketing authorization; temporary suspension of marketing authorization; and proposals for definitive withdrawal of marketing authorization.

This Law establishes the Rwanda allied health professions Council and determines its organisation, functioning and competence.

This Law determines the organization, functioning and competence of the Council of Pharmacists. The Council shall be responsible for ensuring that the rules, honour and dignity of the pharmacy profession are complied with and ensure the protection of public health. 

Health Care Agency Act

This Act establishes a Health Care Agency and provides for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Public Health Authority Act

This Act establishes the Public Health Authority to regulate and monitor health-related services, and establishes the Public Health Authority Board and the Appeals Board, their functions, powers and procedures and provides for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

This decree establishes a code of ethics for all physicians practicing in Togo.

The law creates a professional association known as the “Ordre national des Médecins”. It groups together all doctors authorized to practice their profession in Burkina Faso. The document in addition to the text of the law also include Decree 2014-048 providing the Code of Deontology for doctors, the Order N° 2014-149 providing the internal regulations of the national order of doctors and the Join Order N° 2014-572 providing the composition of the disciplinary chamber for the National Order of doctors.

The Proclamation establishes a mandatory health insurance scheme for pensioners, employees and members of their families in Ethiopia.
