The Decree establishes free access to family planning care and services in Burkina Faso (art.1). These are provided in public health facilities by community health workers (art.2). Private facilities can choose to implement the same, but need to sign an agreement with the Ministry of Health to settle the conditions and modalities (art.3). Specific services covered are to be determined by a joint order from the Ministers responsible for Health and Finances (art.4). These measures are financed by the budget of the State and partners (art. 5) and will be realized progressively (art. 6).

The Civil Code is a document that brings together rules relating to civil law, governing topics such as the status of persons, property, as well as private relations between citizens.

This decree guarantees access to free delivery care in public health facilities.

This law introduces free healthcare for pregnant women and children under 5 throughout Burkina Faso.

This order sets the schedule for mandatory vaccination against some communicable diseases.

This decree establishes the National Consultative Committee for Vaccination and Vaccines of Benin (CNCV-Benin), defining its composition, its responsibilities and its functioning to advise and guide the country's vaccination policies.

The law states that all health measures of a prophylactic nature are free of charge. Every citizen has the right to free medical care when they are hospitalized. All complementary diagnostic tests are free of charge both in inpatient and outpatient settings. 

This Ordinance provides for the Civil Code.

The Decree, published in the Official Journal of 20 June 1969 provides that some vaccinations may be made compulsory in case of (threat of) epidemic (pages 14-15).

Code Civil du Burundi

The Burundi Civil Code provides a comprehensive set of laws governing civil matters such as property rights, contracts, family law, and obligations. It consists of 3 books dedicated to (1) Personal and Family Code (2) Of goods and different modifications of property and (3) Contracts or conventional obligations.
