Health Record Officers (Registration, etc.) Act

The Act establishes a Board for the control and practice of the profession of health records management and matters relating thereto.

Nurses and Midwives Regulations

These Regulations establish the requirements for the registration of nurses, their training, conduct and related disciplinary measures.

This law modifies articles 3, 5, 6, 7, 15 and 36 of the law n°84-10 setting the organization of the medical and health profession ("Loi No 84-010 fixant l'organisation de l'ordre des professions Medico-sanitaires: infirmier, sage-femme et technicien medico-sanitaire").

The Medical and Dental Practitioners Act

This Act makes provision for the establishment of a Medical and Dental Council; for the Registration of Medical and Dental Practitioners; for the discipline of persons registered under the Act and other matters connected therewith.

Medical Practitioners Dentists Act

This Act provides for the establishment of the Medical Council of Malawi, the registration and disciplining of medical practitioners and dentists, the regulation of training within Malawi of medical personnel and generally for the control and regulation of the medical profession and practice in Malawi and for matters incidental to or connected therewith.

Code de déontologie médicale

The Law creates a Code of Ethics for physicians and dental surgeons in Mali. The Code is applicable to all physicians and dental surgeons registered with the “Ordre National des Médecins” (National Order of Physicians). The Code sets out, among other things, the requirements and duties associated with the practice of the profession.

Nurses and Midwives Act

This Act establishes the Seychelles Nurses and Midwives Council, makes provision for registration of nurses and midwives, for their training, qualification and disciplinary control; repeals the Midwives Act, and the Nurses' Registration Act; and provides for connected purposes.

The Nurses and Midwives Act

This Act makes provision for the training, registration, enrolment and licensing of nurses, regulates their conduct and ensures their maximum participation in the health care of the community and other connected purposes.

Proclamation No 24 of 1984 The Pharmacy Act 60/1983

This Act regulates the practice of pharmacy in the country, establishes guidelines for the licensing, operation, and conduct of pharmacies, as well as regulates the sale and manufacture of pharmaceutical products.

This Law regulates the practice of dental surgery and the order of dental surgeons.

The Decree creates a public-law institution called the Ordre des Médecins du Burundi. It is responsible for preserving the rules of medical ethics, honor, discretion and dignity of members of the Order in the practice of the medical profession.

Pharmacy Act No 53 of 1974

This Act consolidates and amends the laws providing for the establishment of the South African Pharmacy Board and for the training and registration of pharmacists, trainee pharmacists, pharmacy students, unqualified assistants and pharmaceutical technicians; provides for the control of the practice of the pharmaceutical profession; and provides for matters incidental thereto.

Health Professions Act 56 of 1974

This Act establishes the Health Professions Council of South Africa and professional boards; provides for control over the education, training and registration for and practising of health professions registered under this Act; and provides for matters incidental thereto.

This Ordinance establishes national orders of doctors, pharmacists, dental surgeons and midwives, that are compulsorily grouping all practitioners authorized to practice their profession.
