This Decree declares the State of Health Emergency and dictates precautionary measures for the prevention, containment and control of the new coronavirus pandemic in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

This Act establishes the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority; provides for the functions and powers of the Authority; and provides for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

This Act makes provision for the prevention and management of HIV and AIDS; provides for the rights and obligations of persons living with HIV or affected by HIV and AIDS; provides for the establishment of the National AIDS Commission; and provides for matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

This Act promotes gender equality, equal integration, influence, empowerment, dignity and opportunities, for men and women in all functions of society, prohibits and provides redress for sex discrimination, harmful practices and sexual harassment, provides for public awareness on the promotion of gender equality, and provides for connected matters.

This Act provides for partnerships between the public sector and private sector for the supply of infrastructure and delivery of services as means of contributing towards sustaining economic growth, social development and infrastructure development; provides for the development and implementation of public-private partnership arrangements in Malawi for the delivery of infrastructure and services; provides for the establishment of the Public Private Partnership Commission; provides for private sector participation in state-owned enterprises, commercial entities and commercial assets, and provides for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

This Act provides for the registration of persons and registration of births, marriages and deaths of persons and provides for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

The purpose of this Law is to create a legal framework that allows for the implementation of the actions and mechanisms necessary for the education, prevention, treatment, epidemiological surveillance, research, care and monitoring of sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS, as well as to guarantee respect, protection and defence of human rights, and to eliminate the stigmatization and discrimination of people infected with HIV/AIDS. This Act protects the rights of consumers, addresses the interests and needs of consumers, establishes a Consumer Protection Council, provides an effective redress mechanism for consumer claims and provides for other matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

The scope of application of this Law includes: medicines and health products, as well as the actions of natural and legal persons involved in the production, marketing, prescription and dispensing of pharmaceutical and health products within the national territory. This Act amends and consolidates the law relating to local government and provides for the matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

This Act makes provision for the regulation of the conditions of employment in workplaces as regards the safety, health and welfare of persons employed therein; for the inspection of certain plant and machinery, and the prevention and regulation of accidents occurring to persons employed or authorized to go into the workplaces; and provides for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

This Act makes provision for the protection and management of the environment and the conservation and sustainable utilization of natural resources and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

The Constitution of the Republic of Malawi was adopted in 1994 and revised in 2017. The Constitution is the supreme law of the Republic that sets out the core values and principles of the organization of the state, separates the powers, defines the rights and obligations of the people, etc. The Constitution of Malawi consists of 215 articles that are organized into 22 Chapters supplemented by a Schedule.

This Act makes provision for the co-ordination and implementation of measures to alleviate effects to disasters, the establishment of the office of Commissioner for Disaster Preparedness and Relief the establishment of a National Disaster Preparedness and Relief Committee of Malawi, and for matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

The Constitution of Equatorial Guinea was first adopted in 1991 and revised in 2012. It consists of 134 articles that are grouped into five titles. The Constitution establishes a wide array of norms touching upon the questions of hierarchy of laws, type of government in the country, civil, economic and political rights, human rights and freedoms, organization of the state, separation of powers, etc.

This Act provides for the establishment of the Medical Council of Malawi, the registration and disciplining of medical practitioners and dentists, the regulation of training within Malawi of medical personnel and generally for the control and regulation of the medical profession and practice in Malawi and for matters incidental to or connected therewith.
