Bio

Ryo Yokoe has worked as a consultant for the World Health Organization Centre for Health Development (WHO Kobe Centre - WKC) in Kobe since September 2022. He coordinates the planning and implementation of WKC research projects involving local institutes and municipalities, and facilitates the engagement with local stakeholders. Prior to joining WKC, he worked at the WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific and WHO Headquarter where he contributed to the robust use of data to visualize burden of disease in the region and the development of analysis strategy for strengthening community readiness and resilience in the context of public health emergencies respectively.  He received his undergraduate degree from Keio University, and his masters in Epidemiology from University of Oxford.
