The World Customs Organization web-article about EVD outbreak

The World Customs Organization (WCO) has published a web-article on WCO website, the article states that the WCO will keep a close watch on the EVD outbreak and the associated travel- and trade-related developments in this regard. The WCO Secretary General, Dr. Kunio Mikuriya, recently wrote to WHO Director General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, pledging the WCO’s support to global efforts to contain this deadly disease.  The WCO plans to inform its 183 Member Customs administrations worldwide about the latest developments and to provide the membership with generic guidance on health and safety procedures for Customs officers, who may be facing potential high-risk situations at airports, ports and other points of entry.
