At the end of this course, you should be able to reduce the spread of COVID-19 resulting from travel, transportation, and trade on and around ground crossings by:

• Identifying priority ground crossings and communities;
• Scaling up preparedness and control measures at these locations.

Promoting Public Health Measures in Response To COVID-19 on Cargo Ships and Fishing Vessels

At the end of this course, you should be able to:

• Describe the public health measures that may protect seafarers throughout their journey to the vessel, on the vessel, and on the way home;
• Prevent and manage an outbreak of COVID-19 disease on board a cargo ship or fishing vessel

Public Health Event Management in Air Transport

This course has been developed in collaboration with ICAO, IATA, Public Health Sector from all regions including ECDC and USCDC. The material for this training comes from the WHO Handbook for the Management of Public Health Events in Air Transport. It focuses on communicable diseases, but as directed by the International Health Regulations (2005) also considers the multi-hazard (biological, chemical and radiological) approach.

IHR Training Toolkit is a structured and comprehensive set of customizable training materials. The module "IHR at Points of Entry" is aimed at institutions willing to develop a face-to-face course or module that explain the key provisions and standard operational procedures for IHR implementation at ports, airports and ground crossings.
