The main goal of this online course is to brief IHR National Focal Points and other interested professionals on the key elements of the revised International Health Regulations (IHR).
This online course is available in seven languages.
Under the IHR, States Parties are required to notify WHO of “all events which may constitute a public health emergency of international concern” as determined through an algorithm: the Decision Instrument contained in Annex 2 of the IHR. The purpose of the following web-based tutorials is to support staff of National IHR Focal Points and others responsible for assessing public health events that may require notification to WHO. Available in six languages.
