6th NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TOBACCO OR HEALTH

The WHO FCTC Knowledge Hub on Smokeless Tobacco participated in the conference hosted by the International Institute of Health Management Research, New Delhi. 16th to 18th February, 2024, New Delhi, India.

Dr Shalini Singh, Director, WHO FCTC Knowledge Hub on Smokeless Tobacco, ICMR-NICPR delivered her plenary talk on “Capacity building and technical assistance for implementing WHO FCTC mandates including Article 9 and 10” and gave insight on the working guidelines and updates of National Tobacco Testing Laboratories in her talk. Dr. Prashant Kumar Singh, Scientist E & Nodal Officer, WHO FCTC Knowledge Hub on Smokeless Tobacco, ICMR-NICPR presented his findings on the study “Association of E-Cigarette Use with Respiratory Diseases: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis”.  Besides, seven researchers from WHO FCTC Knowledge Hub on Smokeless Tobacco presented their respective study findings at the conference
