The McCabe Centre for Law & Cancer has collaborated with our WHO FCTC Knowledge Hub colleagues at the University of Cape Town’s Research Unit on the Economics of Excisable Products (REEP) — the Knowledge Hub on Tobacco Taxation and Illicit Trade — on a new policy brief in their Back to Basics (B2B) series.

The brief offers an accessible, plain-language review of court cases and litigation in FCTC implementation, and how the tobacco industry uses the threat of litigation as a ‘scare tactic.’

See the brief in full below our download it as a PDF.

You can read the other policy briefs in the series at the Knowledge Hub on Tobacco Taxation and Illicit Trade website.
