National Health Accounts institutionalised
Lesotho institutionalized the National Health Accounts (NHA) process using the WHO tool, with key stakeholders including USAID and the World Bank. With their support, two rounds of NHA were successfully conducted in 2023 and 2024, providing critical data to guide resource allocation, policy-making, and efforts to strengthen the country’s health financing system.
