3rd bi-annual newsletter of the REACT project

The REACT project (Response to Emerging infectious disease: Assessment and development of Core capacities and Tools) has released its 3rd bi-annual newsletter. It is expected that the newsletter becomes available online in a few days from the following link:

http://www.rki.de/react Major topics that this newsletter cover are the 2nd expert meeting for all work packages that took place from 15th-17th of June in Warsaw, Poland. Four subject-specific core work packages have been established as follows:

  • Work package 4: Enhanced surveillance during international mass gatherings
  • Work package 5: Surveillance of infectious disease outbreaks among Health Care Workers
  • Work package 6: Tools for local implementation of the International Health Regulations
  • Work package 7: International contact tracing after exposure to infectious diseases in public conveyances
