12.9 Draft updated global action plan on antimicrobial resistance
Health Action International welcomes the opportunity to address AMR, a major global threat that exacerbates other health and humanitarian challenges.
We note positively the updated and amended global plan of action brought before the Assembly and commend the references to effective technology transfer in line with international and national rules. This represents more balanced language that addresses concerns expressed repeatedly during the PABS negotiations.
HAI encourages Member States and stakeholders to collaborate in the adaptation and implementation of this Global Plan including, but not limited to, resource mobilization and community engagement and surveillance.
