FIP advances the “Immunisation for All Ages” initiative—strengthening evidence and advocacy for life-course vaccination against influenza, COVID-19, pneumococcal disease, and RSV.
Pharmacists are already central to these efforts: 90% are engaged in vaccination-related advocacy, and over 56 countries now enable pharmacy-based vaccination, reflecting a clear global trend towards expanded scope of practice supported by evidence demonstrating improved vaccine access, increased uptake, and strengthened health system resilience.
We urge Member States to fully integrate pharmacists into primary health care for equitable vaccine access.
