Community Health Workers sustain the success of integrated people-centered health services. The report does not acknowledge this, nor their challenging working conditions and artificially stunted career paths.

The call for improved information systems and digitalization does not acknowledge the asymmetrical access to digital technologies and the monopolization of technologies through platforms, pricing and intensive marketing.

The relationship between Primary Health Care, Universal Health Coverage and Integrated People Centered Health Services is unclear. This risks causing fragmentation and confusion, thereby undermining realization of Health for All.

The report calls on MS Member States to improve the way health services are selected, funded, managed and delivered. However, improving these metrics won’t address corporate capture of health systems and privatization of health services, and resultant inequities and fragmented care.
