Statement: 

Honourable Chair, Distinguished delegates,
Thank you for the opportunity to speak on behalf of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF), representing over 500,000 pharmaceutical students and recent graduates in more than 100 countries.
IPSF is committed to advocating for improvements in health systems, recognising health as a fundamental human right. Investing in health systems is essential to build public capacity and ensure equitable access to healthcare for all.
Fully aware of the importance of investing in health systems to achieve health for all, IPSF urges WHO and its Member States to make long-term investments in strengthening health systems, including enhancing infrastructure, workforce capacity, and access to essential medicines and services.
Lastly, IPSF stands ready to collaborate closely with WHO and Member States to implement sustainable measures aimed at strengthening health systems and achieving health for all.
