Agenda Item:
- Item 15.4 Climate change, pollution and health
Statement:

The Global Self-Care Federation and its members are committed to investing in innovative solutions to reduce the impact of self-care products on the environment, while ensuring better health outcomes, product safety and access to effective treatment options. Collectively, through our Charter for Environmentally Sustainable Self-Care, the consumer health sector has invested in voluntary and proactive actions towards sustainable solutions to address the sector’s environmental impact.

In this context, multistakeholder collaboration with governments, civil society, and the private sector is essential to fulfill our shared climate commitments and to driving innovative solutions. GSCF is proud to be a technical partner of the WHO Alliance for Transformative Action on Climate and Health, providing a platform to build climate-resilient and sustainable health systems for all and we look forward to contributing to WHO initiatives on Climate change, pollution and health.
