The International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) represents over 500,000 pharmaceutical students and recent graduates in more than 100 countries. The "Workforce 2030" strategy underrepresents pharmacists and allied health professionals despite our vital contributions to medication management, public health, and primary care.

We call on WHO and its Member States
-To develop a supplemental technical brief to the Strategy, providing clear, actionable guidance to Member States on the planning, regulation, and effective integration of these professionals into national health systems;
-To invest in health labour market observatories to generate disaggregated data-by cadre, gender, geography and age;
-To develop sustainable and inclusive frameworks for meaningful youth engagement in decision-making processes within national Human Resources for Health committees and education reform bodies.
