20.1 Reform of the global health architecture and the UN80 Initiative
Statement:

Honourable Chair, Distinguished Delegates,

The International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation welcomes the DG’s joint process on global health architecture reform and the UN80 Initiative as a timely opportunity to advance practical and sustainable change.

As IPSF prepares our 2026–2029 Strategic Plan, to be adopted in August 20206, we welcome collaboration through aligned planning, structured youth engagement and reciprocal consultation, while encouraging stakeholders to partner with youth from the ground up to strengthen community-driven global health action.

As a member of WHO Youth Council and through our network of more than 600,000 members across over 100 countries, IPSF stands ready to support long-term partnerships grounded in shared priorities, coordinated action and meaningful implementation across all levels of global health governance.

Thank you.
