The International League of Dermatological Societies welcomes the report and supports the efforts to embed neglected tropical disease services within primary care and universal health coverage frameworks. We particularly welcome the focus on coordinated, cross-sector approaches for skin-related neglected tropical and common skin diseases.

Continued investment in surveillance, diagnostics, workforce development, data collection, monitoring and long-term financing will be critical, especially as climate-related pressures may increase vector exposure and disease burden.

ILDS stands ready to support implementation through technical collaboration, workforce training and dermatological expertise so that affected communities can access timely, quality care.
