The International League of Dermatological Societies and Anesvad Foundation calls for the adoption of the proposed resolution on "Skin diseases as a global public health priority." It represents an overdue recognition of the immense burden skin diseases place on individuals, communities, and health systems worldwide.

We urge Member States and partners to commit to increasing domestic and international investments in skin health to support affordable treatments, skilled workforce capacity-building, and prioritisation of prevention, early detection, research, and innovation.

Bold action is needed now to protect the health, dignity, and livelihoods of millions, and place skin diseases firmly on the global public health agenda.
