Joint Assessment of National Strategies
The JANS groups of attributes are:
- Situation analysis and programming (Group 1): soundness of analysis/assessment underlying identification of the programming contained in the national strategy.
- Process (Group 2): soundness and inclusiveness of development and endorsement processes for the national strategy.
- Finance and auditing (Group 3): soundness of financial and auditing framework and systems.
- Implementation and management (Group 4): soundness of arrangements and systems for implementing and managing the programmes contained in the national strategy.
- Results, monitoring and review (Group 5): soundness of review and evaluation mechanisms and how their results are used.
