    Sampling

    Sampling Procedure

    There was only one eligible school in Niue. All classes with the majority of students in years 7-13 were selected and all students in selected classes were eligible to participate.

    Response Rate

    The school response rate was 100%, the student response rate was 78%, and the overall response rate was 78%.

    Weighting

    The weighting formula used is:
    W = f1 f2 f3

    f1 = a school-level nonresponse adjustment factor calculated by school size category (small, medium, large). The factor was calculated in terms of school enrollment instead of number of schools.

    f2 = a student-level nonresponse adjustment factor calculated by class.

    f3 = a poststratification adjustment factor calculated by grade.
