El Plan Decenal de Salud Pública PDSP 2012-2021 es la carta de navegación que plantea la línea de trabajo para dar respuesta a los desafíos actuales en salud pública y para consolidar, en el marco del sistema de protección social, las capacidades técnicas en los ámbitos nacional y territorial para la planeación, ejecución, seguimiento y evaluación de las intervenciones, de acuerdo con los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio, así mismo, plantea estrategias de intervención colectiva e individual, que involucran tanto al sector salud como a otros sectores, dentro y fuera de los servicios de salud. El Plan Decenal de Salud Pública PDSP 2012-2021 está planteado con enfoque regional, y reconoce las diferencias como referencia obligada para formular políticas públicas y programas acordes con las características, capacidades específicas y particularidades de los diversos grupos poblacionales y regiones.The Ten-Year Public Health Plan 2012-2021 proposes the line of work to respond to the current challenges in public health and to consolidate, within the framework of the social protection system, technical capacities for the planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of interventions, in accordance with the Millennium Development Goals. It proposes collective and individual intervention strategies that involve both the health sector and other sectors, within and outside health services.
The Ten-Year Public Health Plan 2012-2021 is planned with a regional focus, and recognizes the differences as an obligatory reference for formulating public policies and programs in accordance with the characteristics, specific capacities and particularities of the various population groups and regions.
