Recognising the need for coordination and consistency in Government interventions forchildren, the Government of Rwanda, through the Ministry of Gender and Family
Promotion (MIGEPROF) initiated the development of the Integrated Child Rights Policy,
a comprehensive national document, detailing Rwanda’s vision and commitment to all
children. The Integrated Child Rights Policy is conceived with the objectives of
strengthening the thinking and analysis around policies related to children and the
coordination and implementation of Government activities for realization of children’s
