Description
The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) is the main organization responsible for the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Child Protection Act of 2003. In order to better implement the Act, the National Child Protection Strategy of 2017-2021 was developed in accordance with the United Nations framework, legal framework, and children's situation in the Thai context. The drafting process involved a range of government and non-government agencies, including UN bodies and relevant sectors. This is in order that the strategy will be adopted and guide action that will translate to the implementation of child protection in the relevant sectors.Content
