Vision 2030 aims to achieve economic prosperity and social wellbeing for the people of Somaliland building on the country’s success in establishing peace, stability, and democratic institutions.

The Vision will:
• Enable the country to take ownership of its development agenda
• Aspire the nation and its leadership to mobilize resources, and overcome development challenges to attain a higher standard of living
• Guide development partners to align their support with national priorities and aspirations
• Provide a framework upon which national strategies and implementation plans will be anchored

The Somaliland Vision 2030 rests on the following five pillars: Economic Development; Infra-Structure Development; Good governance; Social Development; and Environmental Protection.
