The mission of the Commission is to ensure, over the whole territory, respect for Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms as defined by the International Charter of Human Rights, the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights, the Constitution of the Central African Republic and other internal and international legal instruments in force.
As part of its mission to protect and promote Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, the Commission proceeds by consultations, observations, evaluations, dialogues, consultations and investigations.
