Description

The Alzheimer’s Plan combines and coordinates the strategic effort of the Ministries of Health and Equality and Social Welfare in order to further develop measures for people and families affected by Alzheimer's disease. This plan is created under the principles of universality, equity, solidarity and accessibility, which are shared both by the public health system and by the system of social services of Andalusia. The need to promote actions and measures aimed at improving the quality of life of people affected by Alzheimer's disease, and their families is evident to see as this health problem is currently the leading cause of dementia in the country as well as one of the leading causes of mortality among adults.
