La Ley de Protección Integral de la Niñez y la Adolescencia, Decreto Legislativo No. 27-2003, es un instrumento jurídico de integración familiar y promoción social que se propone promover y adoptar medidas, formular políticas y asignar recursos para proteger jurídica y socialmente a la familia, para dar cumplimiento a los derechos de la niñez y adolescencia.
