Children rights constitute an integral part of human rights particularly that children need special care and protection. This is why the International Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in Conference Summit World on the 20th of November 1989 and entered into force on the 2nd of September 1990. The aim of the convention is child protection and it emphasizes on early childhood, quality education, and the participation of children in human development. Along with other relevant international covenants, they form the legal framework for countries signed and ratified them, and to make the application and promotion of the rights set forth a responsibility of states and socities together.
