الدستور العراقي المستفتي عليه من قبل الشعب العراقي بتاريخ 15/10/2005 و يحتوي على 139 مادة. يشمل الباب الأول على المبادئ الأساسية و الباب الثاني على الحقوق والحريات و الباب الثالث على السلطات الاتحادية و الباب الرابع على اختصاصات السلطات الاتحادية و الباب الخامس على سلطات الأقاليم و الباب السادس على الاحكام الختامية والانتقالية.


The Iraqi constitution was approved after a popular referendum on 15/10/2005 and it contains 139 articles. The first section covers the basic principles. The second section lays out the rights and freedoms of the people of Iraq. The third section lays out the foundation of the federal authorities and the fourth section discusses the terms of reference of the federal authorities. The fifth section lays out the articles discussing the authorities of the Territories and finally the last section discusses the final and transitional provisions and legislation.
