Description

The State of Côte d'Ivoire, through the Ministry of Health, has decided to develop and implement a multisectoral, multidisciplinary and integrated policy for the prevention and management of chronic noncommunicable diseases.

This present document depicts the national situation and presents the main guidelines for the prevention and integrated management of NCDs. It offers in this formal framework, solutions to significantly contribute to reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases in Côte d’Ivoire.

L’Etat de Côte d’Ivoire, à travers le Ministère en charge de la Santé, a décidé d’élaborer et de mettre en œuvre une politique multisectorielle, multidisciplinaire et intégrée de prévention et de prise en charge des maladies chroniques non transmissibles.

Ce présent document dépeint la situation nationale de ces affections et présente les grandes orientations pour la prévention et la prise en charge intégrée des maladies non transmissibles. Il propose dans ce cadre formel, des éléments de solutions permettant de contribuer significativement à la réduction du fardeau des maladies non-transmissibles en Côte d’Ivoire.
