Целью настоящего Закона является регулирование отношений в области оказания психиатрической помощи населению. Действие настоящего Закона распространяется на граждан Республики Узбекистан при оказании им психиатрической помощи и применяется в отношении юридических лиц, специализирующихся на оказании психиатрической помощи на территории Республики Узбекистан.
