Description

The youth is not a homogenous group but presents demographic, economic and social characteristics that require mobilization of public authorities to define a comprehensive policy for youth.

To address the challenge of youth in Guadeloupe, many devices are set up by the State, local authorities and the voluntary sector, but they are not sufficiently coordinated and not always effective. The state, the region and the Department announced on February 21 the establishment of a regional youth conference to better articulate public policies for youth by developing a regional plan for youth policies from a shared diagnosis.
