Description

The purpose of this Law is to provide person(s) with mental disorder with
medical care and protection, and in combination with the Law to Support Independence of Disabled Persons(Law No. 123 of 2005)to offer necessary assistance for promoting their social rehabilitation, self-support and participation in socio-economic activities, and to endeavor to prevent onset thereof, maintain and promote mental health of the people in general, to thereby advance general well-being of the person(s) with mental disorder and to enhance mental health of the people in general.
