Description

This Plan is an expression of the continued commitment of the UK government to make the UNCRC a reality for all our children and young people. As set out in the individual action plans of the four administrations, each region continues to move forward with its own policy to meet local needs. They recognize, however, that to achieve their goals on a large scale they must work collaboratively. In particular, they have set clear and joint targets to tackle child poverty, agreed a shared approach for tackling negative portrayal of children and young people in the media, and taken forward plans to collaborate to enable children and young people to participate in decision-making on issues that affect their lives.
