Description

This document presents the national Adolescent Health Strategic Plan 2011 to 2015 (ADH-SP
2011-15) for Zambia. It seeks to outline the strategic framework for promoting the delivery of
appropriate, comprehensive, accessible, efficient and effective Adolescent Friendly Health
Services (ADFHS) throughout the country, so as to comprehensively address adolescent health
problems.

This plan was developed through broad consultations with, and active participation of the key
stakeholders. It is linked to and will be implemented within the frameworks of the National
Health Strategic Plan 2011 to 2015 (NHSP 2011-2015), the Sixth National Development Plan
2011 to 2015 (SNDP), the Vision 2030 strategy for Zambia and the Millennium Development
Goals (MDGs).
