Description
The goal of this strategic plan is: Fiji with a healthy lifestyle population. It aims to improve Fiji National NCD status by 5% in 2014.The objectives of this plan is to reduce the prevalence of:
1) common risk factors by 5%;
2) intermediate risk factors by 5%; and
3) major NCDs by 5%; in 2014.
The objectives also include:
1) Improve early detection and Muscle, Mouth, Medicine (3M) management of NCDs in 80% of primary health care facilities in Fiji by 2014; and
2) Improve 3M management of NCD admissions in 80% of Subdivisional and divisional hospitals in Fiji by 2014.
