Description

La presente Ley tiene por objeto:
I. Garantizar y promover el ejercicio de los derechos de las niñas, niños y adolescentes; II. Establecer los principios que orienten las políticas públicas a favor de las niñas, niños y adolescentes; III. Fijar los lineamientos y establecer las bases para la instrumentación y evaluación de las políticas públicas y de las acciones de defensa y representación jurídica, asistencia, provisión, prevención, protección y participación para la promoción y vigencia de los derechos de las niñas, niños y adolescentes a fin de:
a). Impulsar y consolidar la atención integral y la generación de oportunidades de manera igualitaria para las niñas, niños y adolescentes;
b). Establecer los mecanismos que faciliten el ejercicio de los derechos de las niñas, niños y adolescentes;
c). Promover la cultura de respeto y equidad de género hacia las niñas, niños y adolescentes en el ámbito familiar, comunitario, social, público y privado;
d). Establecer las facultades y obligaciones de la Administración Pública para el cumplimiento de la presente Ley.

This Act aims to:

II. Establish principles to guide public policies in favour of children and adolescents;
III. Set guidelines and establish the basis for the implementation and evaluation of public policies and actions of defense and legal representation, assistance, provision, prevention, protection and participation for the promotion and observance of the rights of children and adolescents to:
a). To promote and strengthen comprehensive care and creating equal opportunities for children and adolescents;
b). Establish mechanisms to facilitate the exercise of the rights of children and adolescents;
c). Promote a culture of respect and equity towards children and adolescents in the family, the community, and the social, public and private sectors;
d). Set the powers and duties of the Public Administration for the implementation of this Act.
